Terms of Use
Last updated August 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
Purrbook is a non-custodial interface (the “Interface”) for viewing and placing orders on outcome markets that settle on the Hyperliquid network. By connecting a wallet or placing an order through the Interface, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Interface.
2. Non-custodial service
The Interface never takes custody of your funds, private keys, or positions. Orders are signed in your own browser and submitted directly to Hyperliquid; your keys and signed orders never pass through our servers. We do not operate an order book, hold a house position, or act as a counterparty to your trades. Settlement, custody, and execution are functions of the Hyperliquid protocol, not of Purrbook.
3. Eligibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Interface is lawful where you live. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and must not use the Interface where access to outcome markets, the markets interface, or the underlying protocol is restricted or prohibited. You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including tax obligations arising from your activity.
4. No financial advice
Nothing presented in the Interface — including odds, payouts, depth-aware previews, resolution rules, or market descriptions — is investment, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation to enter into any transaction. Previews are estimates derived from the live order book at a moment in time and are not guarantees of execution price or outcome. You make your own decisions and bear their consequences.
5. Risks
Trading outcome markets involves substantial risk, including the total loss of the funds you commit. Prices can move against you, liquidity can be thin or absent, and a market may settle in a way you did not expect. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Smart contracts, networks, and third-party infrastructure may contain bugs or fail. You accept these risks in full.
6. Stock markets
The “Stocks” tab aggregates perpetual markets that are created and operated by independent third parties on Hyperliquid (“operators”). Purrbook selects which of these markets appear in the Interface and may add or remove any of them at any time. Inclusion is not an endorsement: Purrbook does not review, audit, or approve an operator’s markets, oracles, pricing, or documentation, and does not verify an operator’s continued operation.
As of the date above, the operators whose markets may appear are trade.xyz (deployer 0x88806a71d74ad0a510b350545c9ae490912f0888), Markets by Kinetiq (deployer 0x71f0019cc7fa79e4f42587fb7b9a817d8d2429ec), and Paragon (deployer 0x8888888c43cbb7e1c4132542e46831bffd866ed3). This list may change without notice; the deployer address shown on each market’s page identifies its operator onchain.
Before each order, the Interface re-verifies the market’s onchain identity and re-prices the order against the live order book. An operator can halt its markets and settle open positions at the mark price. Positions are margined in USDC from your own balance; depending on your Hyperliquid account configuration, margin is drawn and returned automatically by the network or moved by you via an explicit transfer shown in the Interface. Orders on these markets may include a builder fee paid to Purrbook of up to 0.10% of order notional, which is part of the order you sign.
7. Spot tokens
The “Spot” tab lists tokens deployed on Hyperliquid’s permissionless HIP-1 spot standard. Anyone can deploy a token, choose its ticker, and write its own name and description; Hyperliquid does not vet them and neither does Purrbook. Two different tokens can share a ticker, and a token’s self-declared name may reference a company, fund, or brand it has no relationship with.
Purrbook selects which tokens appear, may show a logo or group a token under a category, and may add or remove any of this at any time. None of that is an endorsement, verification, or a statement that a token is backed by, issued by, or affiliated with any company or asset it names or resembles. Purrbook does not review or audit a token’s contract, backing, redeemability, or its deployer.
The deployer address shown on each token’s page is the onchain identity that deployed it, taken from Hyperliquid. Where the Interface names an issuer beside that address, the name is Purrbook’s own label for an address it has attempted to identify — not a representation by that issuer. Where a token is marked as an unverified listing, Purrbook has identified a reason for caution and has not verified the token; the absence of that marking is not verification either.
Figures shown for a token — price, volume, market capitalisation, listing age — are derived from data Hyperliquid reports and from values the deployer chose. A token with no trading history has no market price, and supply figures may be placeholders. You are responsible for your own research before trading any token, and you may lose the entire amount you spend.
8. Data and availability
Catalog, odds, and volume data shown in the Interface are provided for convenience and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. We do not warrant that the Interface will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Before signing, your client independently re-derives every order against a freshly fetched order book — but you remain responsible for reviewing each order before you confirm it.
If you sign in with a social account, that sign-in and the wallet it creates are handled by thirdweb, our embedded-wallet provider, under their own terms and privacy policy. thirdweb holds the infrastructure that secures your key; we do not. The key is yours to export at any time from the account menu, and it is never stored on our servers. Connecting a self-custody wallet instead creates no such key: your own wallet holds it, and thirdweb provides only the connection interface.
Card and cross-chain payments offered in the Interface are routed by thirdweb and completed with the payment provider you choose, under that provider’s own terms and identity checks; Purrbook never holds or controls the funds in transit.
9. Prohibited use
You agree not to use the Interface to break the law, to manipulate markets, to infringe others’ rights, or to interfere with the Interface’s operation or security. You may not access the Interface through automated means intended to disrupt it or to gain an unfair advantage over other users.
10. No warranty; limitation of liability
The Interface is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Purrbook and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, funds, or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Interface.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and your continued use of the Interface after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
