This politics market covers the question of whether the SAVE Act becomes law before Jan 4 2027 between Enacted and Not enacted in the 2027 SAVE Act H.R. 22, scheduled for 2027-01-04 15:00 UTC UTC (the "Contest").
It resolves to Yes if Library of Congress's official result names Enacted the winner, and to No if that result names Not enacted the winner. The official result includes all periods and tiebreak procedures that Library of Congress treats as part of the Contest.
If the Contest is postponed, delayed, or suspended, the result of the Contest as ultimately completed applies if a listed participant is named the winner by 2027-01-18 15:00 UTC UTC. A listed participant named the winner after an abandonment, walkover, forfeit, disqualification, retirement, withdrawal, or administrative decision also applies.
The market resolves to 0.5 if Library of Congress records a draw, tie, co-winners, no contest, or no winner; names anyone other than the listed participants as the winner; cancels the Contest without a replacement; or has not named a listed participant the winner by 2027-01-18 15:00 UTC UTC.
Library of Congress is the primary resolution source; independent reputable reporting may be used if it has not published the relevant result. Once resolved, later appeals, corrections, reversals, or result reassignments do not change the resolution.
